About Us

What is ABA
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach focused on understanding and improving behavior. By using positive reinforcement and structured teaching strategies, ABA helps individuals develop essential life skills, improve communication, and reduce challenging behaviors. It is widely recognized as an effective therapy for individuals with autism and other developmental needs.

Meet Our Team

Clinical Director, BCBA
Krishonna Patel, BCBA, LBA
As the Founder of Allied Pediatric Therapy, I’m deeply committed to providing high-quality, compassionate ABA services that are both effective and culturally responsive. I believe that every individual—regardless of background, ability, or circumstance—deserves access to meaningful, individualized care that respects their identity, values, and lived experiences. With over 10 of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, I’ve worked across a variety of settings, supporting individuals and families with diverse needs. I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and I earned my MS from Jacksonville State University. Throughout my career, I’ve remained focused on bridging the gap between research-based practices and real-world application, especially in underserved and historically marginalized communities. One of my core priorities is developing and mentoring a clinical team that values inclusivity, cultural humility, and ongoing learning. I actively work to reduce systemic barriers to care, partnering with families, schools, and communities to ensure our services are accessible, equitable, and truly supportive of those we serve. Outside of work, I stay grounded by spending time with my husband and daughter; we love trying new coffee shops and bakeries together! I also love relaxing with my two rescue dogs Eevee and Roscoe.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Hannah Sands, BCBA, LBA
I’ve been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over 10 years. I officially became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst a little over two years ago, after earning my Master’s in Exceptional Education with a focus in ABA from the University of West Florida in 2022. My passion for this work has always been rooted in providing ethical, compassionate care. I love creating programs that are driven by play, rooted in the natural environment, and built on teamwork. One of the things I value most is supporting others—whether that’s through thoughtful staff training, supervision, or simply showing up for the people I work with every day. I truly love working directly with my clients and advocating for the highest quality services possible. Teaching socially significant skills that empower individuals to gain independence and thrive in their daily lives is at the heart of what I do. Outside of work, I’m a mom to two amazing kids: Lucas, my energetic 3-year-old, and Luna, my bright and resilient 8-month-old daughter. Luna has complex medical needs, and being her mom has given me a whole new perspective on what it means to advocate for inclusive, diverse, and accepting environments. It’s deepened my commitment to making sure that every child—no matter their ability—feels seen, supported, and valued. I truly believe in the power of connection, collaboration, and compassionate care. I’m so grateful to do this work and to grow alongside the families and professionals I have the privilege to support.
